Since 1994, bringing the pleasure and flavor of food to the table.

Nerial Alimentos was born from the dream and the result of the work of Mr. Waldemar de Souza
and their children, initially with the modest production of cassava flour.

Time passed and the need for investment came together with the growing market demand for products derived from cassava, so in 2003 the company decided to invest in the cassava starch industry, further diversifying its product line.

During its journey, Nerial Alimentos has been consolidating its brand with its consumers, with serious and responsible work, from the raw material to the manufacturing and industrialization process.

Our goal is to bring the pleasure and flavor of food to our customers’ tables, with confidence, quality and nutrition, taking responsibility for all processes and always innovating, thus ensuring the company’s sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Structure

Nerial Alimentos seeks to serve and satisfy its customers with superior quality products, and for that it counts on state-of-the-art, high-tech equipment, a planned structure and a highly qualified professional team.

Located in the municipality of Cianorte, northwest of the state of Paraná, Nerial Alimentos has a total area of ​​30,000 m² with more than 6,000 m² of built-up area, currently having the capacity to process 240 tons of cassava roots per day.

Environment

Aware of its responsibility, Nerial Alimentos always seeks to develop its activities respecting and preserving the environment.

The company’s entire effluent treatment system is approved by the Paraná Environmental Institute (IAP), which is finally used in pasture irrigation. We also have a biodigestor, equipment that aims to produce biogas from organic material, a renewable and self-sustainable form.

Quality control

With the commitment to produce and market food with the highest quality, Nerial Alimentos carries out a rigorous control in its production, from the selection of the cassava roots that will be processed to the delivery of the final product to our customers.

Our Good Manufacturing Practices program has specific Standardized Operating Procedures for each sector and activity to be performed, thus ensuring internal control throughout production, storage and shipping. For the execution of all procedures, we have a highly qualified professional team, monitored by quality control, which performs daily cleaning of all equipment used before, during and post-production, complying with established internal rules, documenting and filing all these procedures , being rigorously monitored by the regional Sanitary Surveillance.

We have a modern laboratory where we carry out physical-chemical analyzes of the Critical Control Points in every production line, and outsourced Laboratories approved by Organs competent bodies to carry out Microbiological analyses, following the Normative Instructions in force established by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAP), thus ensuring quality products on the table of our consumers.
